About the Role

Arup is seeking a highly skilled Senior Façade Engineer to join our Technical Specialists group in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking consulting services within the façade diagnostics and existing buildings space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of defined parts of design projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Manage project finances, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of your own and others' work, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Represent the team or area to clients and at internal meetings, effectively communicating project progress and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural, or similar fields.
  • Experience leading remedial façade projects, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
  • Knowledge of building structures, facades, and construction materials, with a focus on problem-solving and improvement options.
  • Awareness of construction contracts, procurement, and contract administration, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Industrial Rope Access qualification and experience preferred, but not essential; willingness to train is desirable.
