Senior Engineer - Diagnostic Facades Engineer

The Sydney office is currently in search of a Senior Façade Engineer. As part of the Technical Specialists group, this position will provide consulting services in the realm of façade diagnostics and existing structures, collaborating with a diverse team of façade engineers on numerous significant and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate with minimal oversight in your designated area, potentially overseeing specific components of design projects.
  • Manage client relationships pertinent to the project.
  • Ensure the financial viability of the project.
  • Guarantee the quality and precision of your work and that of your colleagues.
  • Act as a representative for your team or area in client interactions and internal meetings.

Are You the Right Fit?

  • Possess recognized qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading remedial façade projects, serving as the primary contact for clients during execution.
  • Preferred knowledge of issues related to building structures, facades, and construction materials.
  • Desirable understanding of improvement options (performance, durability, comfort) for building façades.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement, and contract management is advantageous.
  • A qualification and experience in Industrial Rope Access is preferred but not mandatory; however, a willingness to undergo training in this area is desirable.
