About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Façade Engineer to join our Structural Team at Bligh Tanner. As a Façade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a wide range of projects, including architectural buildings, infrastructure, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver façade engineering projects, including scheme design reports and remedial specifications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, local governments, and collaborators
  • Manage commercial factors for façade projects, focusing on client satisfaction and quality project outcomes
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in façade engineering
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in façade engineering
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Engineering)
  • Expertise in relevant analysis software programs (Strand 7, Spacegass)
  • Strong experience in façade engineering design, particularly in architectural buildings, infrastructure, and institutional projects
  • Strong proposal writing skills and ability to win work
  • Chartered Professional Engineer
