The Sydney office is currently in search of a Senior Façade Engineer. This position is part of the Technical Specialists group, focusing on consulting services within the façade diagnostics and existing structures domain. You will collaborate with a diverse team of façade engineers, contributing to high-profile and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate with minimal oversight in your designated area, taking accountability for specific components of design projects.
- Manage client relationships associated with the project.
- Ensure the financial viability of the project.
- Guarantee the quality and precision of your work and that of your colleagues.
- Act as a representative for your team in client interactions and internal meetings.
Is This Position Suitable for You?
- Possess recognized tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading remedial façade projects, serving as the primary contact for clients during execution.
- Preferred knowledge of issues related to building structures, facades, and construction materials.
- Familiarity with enhancement options (performance, durability, comfort) for building façades is advantageous.
- Understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and contract management is desirable.
- A qualification and experience in Industrial Rope Access is preferred but not mandatory; however, a willingness to undergo training in this area is encouraged.
