Family Violence Support Specialist

The role involves providing crisis response, risk assessment, and case management for women and children escaping family violence.
">- Deliver trauma-informed and strength-based support to victim survivors.
- Work within the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) framework to manage risk and hold perpetrators accountable.
- Advocate for victim survivors and collaborate with local, regional, and statewide services.
- Support clients in emergency and refuge accommodation and assist with safety planning and material aid.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster for crisis response.
Key Qualifications: A strong understanding of family violence issues, excellent communication skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations are essential. A degree in social work or a related field is desirable.
