Family Violence Support Specialist

The Specialist Family Violence Practitioner – Crisis/Intake Response is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise in supporting victim survivors of family violence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and respond to high-risk situations, providing ongoing safety planning and advocacy for children, women, and individuals from the LGBTIQ+ community.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for victim survivors, including developing and maintaining relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification met through the 7 Equivalency Principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Integrated Family Violence Service System and relevant legislation, such as the Family Violence Protection Act 2008.
