Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our paediatric medicine team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist clinical care in adolescent health services and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • About the Role
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for providing specialist clinical care across adolescent medicine outpatient services, including eating disorders, gender diversity, adolescent transition, and complex medical clinics.
  • This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
  • The selected individual will also lead and support clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive, development-focused team culture.
  • In addition, this role requires driving service improvement by contributing to research, clinical audits, and the development of protocols, while supporting change and innovation across adolescent health services.
Your Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in adolescent health care.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices.
