As a clinical nurse, you will be responsible for delivering specialist care to young patients with complex medical needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Specialist Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient care in adolescent health services, including eating disorders, gender diversity, and transition clinics.
  • Collaborate in Multidisciplinary Teams: Work with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for young patients.
  • Lead and Support Clinical Education: Mentor junior staff, facilitate student learning, and contribute to a positive team culture that fosters growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse: Hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Adolescent Healthcare Experience: Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in adolescent healthcare, with demonstrated competence in delivering specialist care.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team environment.
