
Senior Adolescent Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled clinical nurse to join our adolescent medicine team. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialist clinical care in adolescent health services.
- Deliver specialist clinical care across adolescent medicine outpatient services, including eating disorders, gender diversity, adolescent transition, and complex medical clinics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
- Lead and support clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Drive service improvement by contributing to research, clinical audits, and the development of protocols.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience working with adolescents. You will be able to work independently and manage competing priorities, while also being a team player.
- Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in adolescent healthcare.
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team.
- Sound knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices.
