Job Opportunity: Critical Environment Engineer

Role Summary: As a Critical Environment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for online services. This encompasses a broad portfolio of more than 200 datacenters globally, spanning millions of servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ICS system availability, data integrity, and security across data centers.
  • Lead site-level ICS programs, oversee project management, and govern global initiatives related to ICS systems.
  • Manage electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS) within mission-critical datacenters, including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure.
  • Establish logical and physical access controls, approvals, and permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers that provide datacenter monitoring and controls.
  • Embed a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by adhering to compliance knowledge assessments and CO+I's safety programs.
  • Develop positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintaining ICS system availability, data quality, and service management.
  • Strong project management skills, including program governance and execution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS).
  • Ability to establish and enforce logical and physical access controls.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
