As a critical environment specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the infrastructure that supports our cloud services. This could involve coordinating with suppliers, identifying and addressing safety risks, understanding how critical environment equipment works, performing maintenance tasks, responding to incidents, and monitoring equipment performance.
Our cloud operations team is responsible for delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft online services. As a critical environment specialist, you will be an integral part of this team, working to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to track equipment assets and complete work orders.
- Respond to and lead incident response teams, coordinating with other professionals to perform corrective repairs.
- Develop and enhance emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures related to CE operations and incidents.
- Perform various types of maintenance and repairs following established protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year(s) of mission-critical services work experience or applied learning experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of mission-critical services experience.
- Associate's degree or technical trade certification.
