Job Description

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical safety, well-maintenance, and security of our residential aged care home environment.

You will execute the preventative maintenance program throughout the residential aged care home, perform reactive repairs on items within the home as needed, and manage the coordination of external maintenance contractors when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Trade certificate or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building services
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Hands-on experience with building maintenance, handyman, or building services role
  • Strong understanding of the practical application of workplace health and safety legislation
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
