Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a trade-qualified and experienced professional to join our dedicated maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Maintaining and repairing heavy vehicle drivetrains, hydraulics, and suspension systems is crucial to the success of our operations. Collaboration with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability is also essential.

  • Prioritize roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Support safety-focused pre-start meetings and contribute to promoting WHS compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Driver's Licence - (HR or HC desirable).
