Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our dedicated maintenance team. This full-time role is critical to the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our fleet.

  • Maintain and repair trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability.
  • Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service).
  • Promote WHS compliance and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • A background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments
  • A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • A current Driver's Licence (HR or HC desirable)
  • A White Card
