Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our diverse fleet of heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to optimize fleet efficiency and availability.
  • Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service).
  • Promote a culture of workplace health and safety (WHS) and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Driver's Licence - HR or HC desirable.
  • White Card.
