Senior Infrastructure Coordinator
About the Role:This role plays a critical part in delivering infrastructure across the Northwest Growth Area. The primary responsibility is to coordinate and support the implementation of civil infrastructure programs.
- Coordinate the implementation of capital works, including annual and long-term plans.
- Prepare and review agreements, ensuring compliance and value for the community.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the Works Improvement Program (WIP), contributing to strategic planning and financial forecasting.
- Lead site inspections and ensure quality and compliance of delivered infrastructure.
- Contribute to asset management planning based on new infrastructure delivery.
- Represent the engineering function on finance committees and support policy development related to contribution plans.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external developers to facilitate delivery.
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of contribution plans and applicable legislation
- Experience negotiating agreements and preparing estimates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A current Class C driver's licence and White Card
- Local government experience or understanding of development assessment processes
- Knowledge of land use planning frameworks
- GIS and project management skills
- Experience working in greenfield and urban environments
