Job Title:

Senior Infrastructure Coordinator

About the Role:

This role plays a critical part in delivering infrastructure across the Northwest Growth Area. The primary responsibility is to coordinate and support the implementation of civil infrastructure programs.

  • Coordinate the implementation of capital works, including annual and long-term plans.
  • Prepare and review agreements, ensuring compliance and value for the community.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the Works Improvement Program (WIP), contributing to strategic planning and financial forecasting.
  • Lead site inspections and ensure quality and compliance of delivered infrastructure.
  • Contribute to asset management planning based on new infrastructure delivery.
  • Represent the engineering function on finance committees and support policy development related to contribution plans.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external developers to facilitate delivery.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of contribution plans and applicable legislation
  • Experience negotiating agreements and preparing estimates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A current Class C driver's licence and White Card
  • Local government experience or understanding of development assessment processes
  • Knowledge of land use planning frameworks
  • GIS and project management skills
  • Experience working in greenfield and urban environments
