About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing activities and contracts for raw materials and direct corporate spend. Key responsibilities include developing category strategies, evaluating suppliers, reviewing spend analysis, managing tenders, and collaborating with suppliers through an ongoing vendor performance review and strategic partnerships model.

You will work closely with Supply Chain & Operations to ensure timely delivery of products and manage inventory volumes. This position also involves supporting a team of direct reports across various states in VIC, QLD, NSW, and NZ who assist with sourcing activities and P2P management.

In summary, you will oversee a team responsible for procuring high-quality building products and corporate spend at optimal pricing, considering environmental factors, international shipping, logistics, and other key risk factors.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Manager, Category Manager, or Purchasing Manager with a proven track record in managing direct spend categories and raw materials for the construction, building, civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar industries. Required skills include spend analysis, identifying international pricing and commodity considerations, and familiarity with manufacturing, building materials, and construction suppliers. Your ability to work with stakeholders and create value as a procurement business partner is essential.
