Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work on infrastructure maintenance and development projects within a local council.

  • As a Project Manager, you will oversee civil infrastructure projects, manage contractors and staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations, write scopes of work and procurement processes.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project & Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of civil infrastructure and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise on-site staff and contractors, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to WHS regulations and implement risk management strategies.
  • Procurement & Contract Management: Write scopes of work, manage RFQs, and oversee vendor processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

  • You must have qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years in civil construction, infrastructure maintenance, or local government projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, contractors, and multiple projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of WHS regulations, contract management, and civil infrastructure.
  • Bonus: Local government experience highly regarded.
  • Must have: A valid Class C driver's license.
