
Senior Staff Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Specialist to join our team in the Department of Supportive and Palliative Care at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to education and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Supportive and Palliative Care
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols
- Liaise with stakeholders to promote collaboration and coordination of care
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff
- Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Degree-qualified medical practitioner registered with the Medical Board of Australia
- FRACP and FAChPM or equivalent qualifications
- Sound clinical knowledge and experience in Palliative Medicine
- Advanced ability to work in a specialist multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
