Procurement Manager - ANZ (JN -032025-39796) Seven Hills, Sydney, Australia

About the Company

This organisation is a major global entity with an unparalleled reputation for quality and a recognisable brand profile across Australia and New Zealand. As a forward thinking, environmentally conscious manufacturer of specialised building products and materials, this organisation continues to reinvest in new technologies that support product innovation and R&D as well as an admirable commitment to ESG and decarbonisation.

About the Role

As Procurement Manager - ANZ, you will be responsible for the sourcing activities and contracts for Raw Materials and Directs as well as indirect corporate spend. This position will enable you to develop category strategies on an end-to-end source to contract basis. As such, you will be evaluating the supplier landscape, reviewing spend analysis and managing tenders through to contract award. You will work collaboratively with suppliers as part of an ongoing vendor performance review and strategic partnerships model. You will develop a supplier framework that expands the supplier base and mitigates sole supplier risk.

You will work hand-in-hand with Supply Chain & Operations to ensure the timely delivery of product and materials to manage inventory volumes as required whilst leveraging a volume pricing win. You will support a small team of direct reports that are based across various states in VIC, QLD, NSW as well as NZ, who will assist you with sourcing activities and P2P management.

In short, you will manage a team that is responsible for the procurement and delivery of high quality building products and corporate spend at optimal pricing, having considered all environmental matters, international shipping, logistics and other key risk factors.

About You

You will be a Procurement Manager, Category Manager, Category Specialist or highly commercial Purchasing Manager, with a proven track-record of success at managing direct spend categories and raw materials for the construction, building, civil engineering, infrastructure or similar. You will be adept at spend analysis, identifying international pricing and commodity considerations and familiar with a network of manufacturing, building materials and construction suppliers. You will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and viewed as a genuine procurement business partner to create value and ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
