Swimming Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Swimming Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with disabilities to improve their swimming skills and confidence.

You will report to the Access and Inclusion Swimming Coordinator and the Aquatic Program Manager, and will be required to teach one-on-one clients with a range of disabilities. You will need to be flexible in your teaching style and adapt to the needs of each client.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with class setup and pack down.
  • Teach one-on-one clients with a range of disabilities.
  • Be flexible in your teaching style according to the needs of each client.

**Requirements:**

  • Current First aid and CPR certificate.
  • Working with Children (QLD Blue Card).
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent Swim Australia qualification).
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (or equivalent Swim Australia qualification).
  • Interest in disability, Parasport, access and inclusion teaching and programs.
