Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Manager to lead IT solution sales and build key relationships within the Federal Government sector.


Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining strategic account relationships
  • Driving business growth through solution selling
  • Tender and proposal management
  • Stakeholder engagement and networking
  • Contract negotiation and market intelligence
  • Forecasting and reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian citizenship with NV1 security clearance required
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a strategic account management or business development role within the IT industry, selling complex solutions to Federal Government agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth understanding of Australian Federal Government procurement processes, panel arrangements, and contracting mechanisms
  • Strong existing network of contacts within Federal Government departments and agencies is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Consultative sales acumen and strategic thinking
  • Results-oriented and team player
