Experienced ICT Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Operations Manager with NV2 Security Clearance to join our team at a leading provider of innovative solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our ICT services, including planning support, procurement and contract management, budget and financial planning, and executive briefings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the effective operation of our ICT services, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deliver value to our clients.
  • Planning Support: Provide strategic planning support to our leadership team, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Procurement and Contract Management Support: Assist in the procurement process, ensuring that contracts are awarded fairly and in accordance with government regulations.
  • Budget and Financial Planning Support: Collaborate with our finance team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring that we stay within allocated funds.
  • Executive Briefings: Prepare and present briefs to our executive team, providing insights and recommendations on key issues.
  • Development of Technical and Functional Requirements: Work with our technical teams to develop requirements for approaches to market, ensuring that they meet client needs.
  • Assistance with Tender Evaluation: Provide support with the evaluation of tenders and quotes, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
  • Active NV2 Security Clearance: Maintain an active NV2 security clearance, ensuring that you are eligible to work on sensitive projects.

Requirements:

  • NV2 Security Clearance or higher
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in managing IT operations in a government setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes
