Recreation Services Manager

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Services Manager to join our dynamic team in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit.
">About the RoleThis leadership role plays a pivotal part in delivering tailored recreation services to patients, promoting recovery and enhancing their ability to live fulfilling lives. As the Recreation Services Manager, you will work collaboratively with patients and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds, designing activities that cater to their needs.
In this role, you will also provide clinical support and supervision to Recreation Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. You will be responsible for empowering both patients and colleagues alike through your creativity, compassion, and expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork, independence, advocacy skills, and proficiency in recreational activities such as art, craft, and sport. They will also have proven experience working with adults with neurological conditions, brain injuries, and within interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement engaging recreation programs
- Provide clinical support and supervision to Recreation Officers
- Collaborate with patients and their families to meet their individual needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
For this rewarding position, we are offering an estimated salary of $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits.
