About the Opportunity
The Deputy Director, Clinical Services, Medical role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the designated Pharmacy Service across SA Pharmacy SALHN.
This key leadership position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to optimize patient outcomes and ensure quality, cost-effective services are provided in accordance with site, local health network, SA Pharmacy, and Department of Health policies and procedures.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in pharmacy management to fill this key leadership position. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the designated Pharmacy Service
- Providing comprehensive and complex range of professional services for patients of the designated area
- Coordinating, developing, and supervising other professional staff, support staff, intern pharmacists, and students
Key Responsibilities
The Deputy Director, Clinical Services, Medical will contribute to the development of health service drug policy and pharmacy policy and procedures, ensuring conformance through active membership on relevant committees and working parties. Additionally, they will represent the Pharmacy and Local Health Network on state-wide and national forums, providing expert advice on risk management, medication safety, and other related areas.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the in the workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
