Looking for a new challenge in field service? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our skilled team as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.

As a Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic support to a range of CAT machinery and ensuring all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards.

You will work closely with our team to guarantee work is conducted to a high level with a safety-conscious mindset and ensure breakdown solutions result in minimal downtime of machines.

With the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of CAT equipment, this role is a great chance to develop your skills and expertise.

Roster and Remuneration:

  • 12.5-Hour Shifts, 7/7 (4 days on, 3 nights on, 7 off)
  • Shift Times: Day Shift 06:00AM to 18:30PM / Night Shift 18:00PM to 06:30AM
  • Potential annual earning between $130k - $150k + Super

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
  • OEM Experience (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
