Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our skilled team. As a Field Service Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic support and ensuring that all repairs meet Caterpillar standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic support to a range of CAT machinery
  • Ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
  • OEM Experience (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
