Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Fitter to join our team. Based at our Tamworth Depot, this hands-on role involves the repair and maintenance of our fleet of Telescopic Handlers – with most work carried out on-site with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain a range of plant machinery, including Telescopic Handlers (JCB and Manitou)
  • Work independently and take initiative to ensure efficient and effective job completion
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
  • Problem-solve and adapt to changing workloads and priorities

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic
  • A valid driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Strong working knowledge of plant machinery
  • Good spoken and written English

Bonus Points:

  • A valid CSCS card
