Mobile Fitter Vacancy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Fitter to join our team. Based at our Tamworth Depot, this hands-on role involves the repair and maintenance of our fleet of Telescopic Handlers – with most work carried out on-site with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain a range of plant machinery, including Telescopic Handlers (JCB and Manitou)
- Work independently and take initiative to ensure efficient and effective job completion
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
- Problem-solve and adapt to changing workloads and priorities
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic
- A valid driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Strong working knowledge of plant machinery
- Good spoken and written English
Bonus Points:
- A valid CSCS card
