Job Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to empower individuals through employment support.

As an Employment Consultant, you will work closely with participants to identify and develop their skills, creating meaningful employment opportunities.

The successful applicant will be passionate about making a positive impact in their community and have excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with participants and employers.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens, as well as hold a valid driver's licence with reliable transport.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Employment Support: Utilize a person-centred approach to tailor services and support participants into sustainable employment
  • Employer Partnerships: Develop positive partnerships with local employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for participants
  • Enhancing Employability: Provide referrals to support services and training to enhance employability
  • In-Employment Support: Offer ongoing support to sustain employment
  • Marketing Skills: Market participants' skills to prospective employers
  • Program Performance: Achieve program performance and quality benchmarks
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements
