Job Overview

As a Hydrogeologist, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop your skills in hydrogeology, geochemistry, and geotechnics.

  • Design and execute fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, soil testing, groundwater monitoring, and well installation.
  • Analyze and assess groundwater and geological data, using tools like GIS, Leapfrog, and numerical modeling software.
  • Prepare informative maps, tables, and figures, and write technical reports, letters, and proposals.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams and demonstrate effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, soil testing, groundwater monitoring, and well installation.
  • Analyzing and assessing groundwater and geological data, using tools like GIS, Leapfrog, and numerical modeling software.
  • Preparing informative maps, tables, and figures, and writing technical reports, letters, and proposals.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary project teams and demonstrating effective communication skills.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in geology, earth science, geochemistry, or a related field.
  • Post-graduate MSc in hydrogeology or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of direct consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong GIS skills, including ArcGIS, QGIS, or Surfer.
  • Experience with Leapfrog, 2D and 3D numerical flow models, and other specialist software.
  • Fieldwork experience, including drilling supervision, logging, testing, sampling, and monitoring.
