We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist/Contaminated Land Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our site assessment and remediation group, you will play a vital role in delivering science-led solutions for complex contaminated land and groundwater projects.

Your expertise will be applied across a range of high-profile infrastructure, defence, renewable energy, mining, and contaminated land remediation projects. You will work closely with top-tier specialists to provide technical advice on challenging projects across the Pacific region.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications being highly regarded. A minimum of 8 years' professional experience in contaminated land and groundwater projects is required, ideally within a consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities">

  • Lead the design, implementation, and interpretation of groundwater investigations and monitoring programs.

  • Deliver hydrogeological risk assessments and conceptual site models for contaminated land and remediation projects.

  • Provide technical direction on groundwater fate and transport modelling, including contaminant behavior.

  • Review and prepare high-quality technical reports and proposals.

  • Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project success and foster strong relationships.

  • Mentor and support junior hydrogeologists and environmental scientists within the team.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative approaches and solutions in hydrogeology and contaminated land assessment.
