We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Water Resources Team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your academic and professional knowledge to real-world projects, working with Tier 1 energy and resource clients.
The successful candidate will be involved in designing and executing fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing and sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, and installing and testing groundwater wells.
Critical analysis and assessment of groundwater and geological data will also be a key part of this role, as well as geospatial and 3D analysis using GIS and Leapfrog software. Quantitative groundwater assessments will involve using analytical and numerical modeling tools, including SEEPW, HYDRUS, MODFLOW, and GoldSim.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in geology, earth science, geochemistry, hydrology, or engineering, or a related field of study (required)
- Postgraduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology (preferred)
- At least 2 years of direct consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- 5 years of consulting experience (preferred)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams (preferred)
