We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing site hydrogeological conceptualisations, preparing risk assessments, compliance reporting, and undertaking desk-based technical tasks. They will also have the opportunity to work on projects across Australia, collaborating with clients and project teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of VIC groundwater related legislation and guidelines, as well as experience in hydrogeological reporting and varied project delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively within a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing site hydrogeological conceptualisations
  • Preparing risk assessments
  • Compliance reporting
  • Desk-based technical tasks
  • Field work, including supervision of groundwater bore installation, groundwater sampling, and level monitoring programs
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of VIC groundwater related legislation and guidelines
  • Experience in hydrogeological reporting and varied project delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Between 5-8 years of industry experience, including experience within a consultancy group
  • Appropriate Hydrogeological tertiary qualification and relevant groundwater industry experience
  • Excellent analytical assessment ability
  • Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
