Team Lead Opportunity

This position is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food services department. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and supervision of all activities in this area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coordinating front of house activities to achieve high standards and optimize customer hospitality experience
  • Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety throughout the food services department that complies with hospital food safety program
  • Managing rosters and ensuring adequate staff coverage
  • Working as part of a team to provide flexibility and support across all shifts and areas

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in food service and/or hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated understanding and competencies in manual handling training, chemical use, hand hygiene and food safety
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once using initiative and flexibility
  • Leadership skills and ability to work well within a team
