
Senior Enforcement Specialist

We are seeking skilled investigators to join our team in the Investigation Services Branch (ISB) of Consumer Affairs Victoria, located at 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. As a Lead Investigator, you will have a strong background and experience in leading investigations culminating in early interventions and/or enforcement outcomes.
- Develop and implement risk-based compliance and enforcement programs, mentoring and leading other investigators across the full spectrum of interventions.
- Prepare and provide specialist technical advice, especially on large and/or complex compliance and enforcement cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead complex civil and/or criminal investigations.
- Prepare and support enforcement proceedings in Courts and Tribunals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Law or related fields may be considered.
- Previous investigative experience is required.
- Minimum five years previous investigative and compliance/enforcement experience.
