A vacant position exists for a focused and diligent Regulatory Enforcement Specialist to maintain order in our community.
- Provide liaison services, ensuring compliance with parking regulations and educate the public on related matters.
- Administer and enforce adherence to parking legislation, fostering a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas to verify compliance with parking regulations and maintain records accurately.
- Submit daily reports detailing activities and ensure prompt response to complaints received.
- Supervise school crossings as required, prioritizing safety above all else.
- Investigate and respond to alleged breaches in a professional manner, upholding the integrity of our community.
- Report obstructions and signage-related issues promptly, contributing to a safer road and footway environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a qualification in a regulatory field or possess experience in a similar role, preferably in parking enforcement.
- Current driver's license is mandatory.
- Pass a current police check or be willing to undergo one.
- Proficiency in using a computer and electronic infringement issuing device is essential.
- Working knowledge of current regulations and legislation relating to the position is imperative.
- Ability to collect relevant facts and information pertinent to an alleged breach is crucial.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
