Licensing Compliance and Enforcement Specialist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing Compliance and Enforcement Specialist to join our team overseeing the tobacco licensing scheme and monitoring compliance across Victoria.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Licensing Compliance and Enforcement Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and inspections of premises to ensure adherence to the Tobacco Act 1987.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to execute legislative powers, including executing search warrants when necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, briefs of evidence, and other supporting documents for investigations and potential court proceedings.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A valid Victorian driver's licence.
  • Relevant qualifications in law, investigations, or compliance (desirable).
  • Prior experience in regulatory or compliance work is essential.
