Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at people2people. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for establishing reconciliation policies, performing GL reconciliations, consolidating financial results, and preparing tax returns.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that offers flexible and work-from-home arrangements. You will have the opportunity to work with a leading recruitment agency in the industry, people2people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective reconciliation policies and procedures.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Consolidate financial results and prepare financial reports.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Perform product cost planning and analysis to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and tax laws.
  • Ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
