Financial Accountant Role

As a Financial Accountant at Torrens University Australia, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial reporting process. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations, as well as assisting with the preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Senior Financial Accountant to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in an accounting role
  • CA, CPA, or ACA designation
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
