Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our small parcel shipping operations and export hub. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to optimize shipping processes, manage international logistics partnerships, and drive operational excellence across our distribution network.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance shipping efficiency and reduce costs. They will manage relationships with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) and negotiate service agreements. The role involves overseeing daily hub operations, including staffing, workflow optimization, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage carrier relationships and negotiate service agreements
  • Oversee daily hub operations, including staffing and quality control
  • Monitor compliance with international shipping regulations and export requirements
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to meet KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive process improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the export Sea and Air industry
