Job Title:

Shipping Operations Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and be able to develop and implement strategic plans to optimize shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance shipping efficiency
  • Manage relationships with carriers (e.g. FedEx, UPS) and negotiate service agreements
  • Oversee daily hub operations, including staffing, workflow optimization, and quality control
  • Monitor compliance with international shipping regulations and export requirements
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to meet KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive process improvements
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping operations


Requirements:
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Ability to define program requirements and use data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the export industry
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
