As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in helping Australians service their own businesses and build community resilience.
Every day, our retail teams make sure that every customer experience is a great one. They are supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers through sales and service transactions.
- Manage high-value transactions accurately, handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
- Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
- Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
- Assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs.
- Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
**Requirements**
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in customer service and/or cash handling is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
