Job Summary

About the Team

The Aboriginal Child and Family Service is dedicated to providing culturally safe and effective care, with a focus on embedding culture in practice and ensuring clinical excellence.

The service operates across the South Western Sydney region, delivering sustained home visiting support to vulnerable families with children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing complex teams and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring cultural safety and clinical governance are embedded in all aspects of the service.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in health or social science or relevant work experience.
  • A strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures and histories, and experience working with Aboriginal communities.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the South Western Sydney region.
