Job Title:

Culturally Appropriate Maternal Health Support Worker

This role is a vital part of our team, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to Aboriginal women during their pregnancy and postnatal journey.

  • Provide direct assistance and support to expectant mothers, ensuring culturally appropriate interactions with other health professionals and support staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic healthcare within the Women's Health, Neonatology, and Paediatrics Unit.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care Practice or willingness to attain.
  • Experience working effectively with Aboriginal women, families, and young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
