The Northern Territory Remote Locum Program is a workforce initiative dedicated to enhancing healthcare services in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
We seek an experienced Registered Midwife/RN to provide care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering high-quality, culturally safe care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff
- Providing placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered
- Evidence of unrestricted registration as a registered nurse and midwife with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience in midwifery
- Minimum 2 years of postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months
