Administrative Assistant

Melba Support Services is a human-rights, values-based not-for-profit community organisation that provides services to support individuals with disability to lead everyday lives of their choice. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant - Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Ballarat, Victoria.
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum (pro rata)
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and responding to enquiries related to our services, providing accurate information and guidance to people seeking access to services. The role involves ensuring the needs of our clients are addressed effectively and empathetically.
About the Role:
- Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Provide accurate and timely responses to client queries
- Coordinate referrals to other departments as required
- Maintain a confidential database of client interactions
- Prepare reports on trends and client needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in customer service or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple activities and prioritise tasks
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
