Ensure Smooth Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring minimal interruption to manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a tradesperson, preferably in an automated FMCG or fast-paced environment. They will possess excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment
  • Lead, supervise, and oversee the work of the maintenance team
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with manufacturing workplace health and safety policies and practices
  • Manage work orders and oversee spare parts inventory
  • Provide downtime reporting and aim to minimize unplanned downtime events
  • Support the maintenance team in achieving team and individual KPIs

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a tradesperson (e.g., qualified fitter or electrician)
  • 5+ years as a team leader or supervisor of maintenance teams
  • Experience in an automated FMCG or other fast-paced environments
  • Well-versed in using SAP and CMMS systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
