Electrical Supervisor Job

Role Overview:


This role involves leading and supporting a team in the maintenance of all non-plant infrastructure on site, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and overseeing electrical integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.
  • Monitor asset electrical integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with electrical standards, weekly work schedule, operating standards, procedures.

The role will be offered on a fly-in fly-out basis from Perth, working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:


  • Leadership Experience: In a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Technical Expertise: WA "A grade" Electrical Licence or Engineering.
  • 1SAP, planning and work management experience
  • Operational Knowledge: Demonstrated working knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practises.
  • Safety Leadership: A track record of championing safety initiatives, critical risk management, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems while ensuring efficient and sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Interpersonal skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture and team diversity.
