Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced maintenance professional to lead our maintenance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic maintenance plans, optimizing maintenance systems, and ensuring the safe operation of plant and equipment.

The role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage work orders and oversee spare parts inventory to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a tradesperson (e.g. qualified fitter or electrician).
  • 5+ years as a team leader or supervisor of maintenance teams.
  • Experience in an automated FMCG or other fast-paced environments.
  • Well-versed in using SAP and CMMS systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a similar industry or sector.
  • Certification in maintenance management or related field.
