Job Overview
The Broker Manager position is responsible for driving growth across a portfolio by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high service standards.
This role requires collaboration with an assigned network of representatives to profitably grow the business and meet sales and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strategic account management plans to foster key relationships and analyze current trends and growth opportunities within the portfolio.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with representatives in your assigned portfolio, focused on developing and monitoring compliant and profitable repeat business.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Proactively promote and support representatives and company products/services to intermediaries.
- Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or Account Manager.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to lead by influence with brokers and underwriters.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting and developing colleagues.
- Product knowledge and understanding to engage intermediaries and capitalize on growth opportunities.
